Plot:
Martial artist Chen Houde (Yuen Wah) traveled to the United States to open Po Chi Lin, and often summoned his apprentice Ajie (Jet Li) from China to come to the United States to help, but Ajie was worried about his residence in the United States and was late. Chen Houde once accepted an American apprentice Johnny (Jerry Trimble), but after Johnny finished his studies, he challenged his master and wanted to expand his martial arts school. Chen Houde was seriously injured by Johnny, and Po Chi Lin was also smashed. Fortunately, a girl named Anna passed by and rescued Chen Houde. Almost at the same time, Ajie finally came to the United States to visit his master, but he encountered all kinds of troubles as soon as he left the airport. First, he inexplicably accepted three down-and-out Mexican teenagers as his apprentices, and then he quarreled with Amei (Ken Kuo), the manager of the real estate department of the bank that sealed Po Chi Lin. Because of the language barrier, Ajie waited for Po Chi Lin to find the whereabouts of his master, and Johnny was also looking around for Chen Houde's whereabouts. The two apprentices, one Chinese and one foreign, will meet on a narrow road for their different pursuits of righteousness and profit...
