Plot:
In this Cannes Critics' Week feature, a severed hand escapes an unfortunate fate in a Parisian laboratory and sets out to rejoin its body. On a hair-raising cross-city odyssey, the hand battles obstacles including pigeons and rats to reunite with pizza boy Naoufel. The hand's memories of Naoufel and his love for librarian Gabrielle may shed light on what led to the hand's separation and provide a poetic backdrop for a possible reunion between the three of them. Based on the novel Happy Hand by Academy Award-nominated Guillaume Laurent (Amélie).
