As citizens of New London, Bernard Marx (Harry Lloyd) and Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown Findlay) have only known a strict social order, a perfect drug called Soma, and a culture of instant gratification and ubiquitous sex. However, in order to explore life beyond the restrictions of society, the two began their vacation in the Savage Land, only to be caught up in a terrible riot. Bernard and Lenina are rescued by the Savage John (Alden Ehrenreich), who flees back to New London with them.
