Netflix and Canadian TV Showcase are filming a time travel drama "Travelers", which will be broadcast on Showcase and Netflix. Filming began in Vancouver. The show was created and written by Brad Wright. It tells the story of hundreds of years later, when the only humans left on Earth transmit their consciousness to people in the 21st century. These time travelers look like ordinary people, but they secretly work together to reverse the terrible future fate of mankind. These time travelers include FBI special agent Grant MacLaren (played by Eric McCormack, the same below), the leader of the time travelers, Marcy (MacKenzie Porter), a young, mentally disabled woman cared for by social worker David (Patrick Gilmore), high school student and quarterback Trevor (Jared Abrahamson), an abused single mother Carly (Nesta Cooper), and heroin-addicted college student Philip (Reilly Dolman). All they can rely on is their knowledge of historical development and the archives of social media platforms. The time travelers find that living and building relationships in the 21st century is as difficult as their mission. The remaining cast includes J. Alex Brinson, Arnold Pinnock, Dylan Playfair and Ian Tracey.
