Plot:
Combining two perspectives, Apollo 10 1/2 tells the story of the first moon landing in the summer of 1969, following the astronauts and Mission Control as they celebrated their triumphant moment, but also through the eyes of a child who grew up in Houston, Texas and had his own dream of space. Inspired by the life of Oscar-nominated filmmaker Richard Linklater, Apollo 10 1/2 is a true portrait of life in 1960s America. It is part coming-of-age story, part social commentary, and part adventure beyond the stars.
