In the lazy town that has been established for 300 years, there lives a little boy named Norman (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee) who can see ghosts. However, this ability brings him endless troubles. People around him, even his parents and sister, think he is a lunatic who talks nonsense. Only the fat boy Nell (voiced by Tucker Albrizzi), who is also ridiculed by everyone in school, believes and is willing to be friends with Norman.
