The play tells the story of Xu Genliang, a Communist Party member, and Chang Erkuan and Chouwa, three ordinary Northwest Army soldiers with different personalities and full of vigor. They came together by chance, and in the Battle of Zhongtiao Mountain, the three embarked on different paths.
