The peaceful and beautiful girl Mara (Evan Rachel Wood) and her companion Sean (Justin Long) from Terra suddenly encounter an Earth warship during a gliding game. The kind-hearted Terrans thought that a god had descended, but they were captured, including Mara's father. Mara drove a dinghy to lead a human fighter plane into the wind tunnel, but kindly saved Lieutenant Jim (Luke Wilson) and the robot Kitty (David Cross). In order to save her father, Mara helped Jim repair the fighter parts, and followed Jim and Kitty into the human warship, but only found that General Hammer (Brian Cox) was determined to occupy Terra, transform the atmosphere, and kill all Terra creatures. A war is inevitable, and the secrets of Terra's past are finally revealed... This film won the Best Animated Film Award at the 2008 Ottawa International Animation Film Festival in Canada.
