Plot:
Princess Huaiyu (Zheng Jiayu) is a girl accidentally adopted by Fu Zheng, a general of the Qing Dynasty. Her real identity is the daughter of Yongli, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty. On the Lantern Festival when Huaiyu was 18 years old, she and her sister-in-law Cheng Ying (Yu Jiahui) disguised themselves as men and went out on the street. They unexpectedly met Wu Yingxiong (Wang Hao), the son of Wu Sangui, and Emperor Kangxi (Sun Yaowei) who was on a tour incognito. Although the three of them hid their true identities, they got along very well and immediately became "brothers". In an accident, Huaiyu had a grudge with the then prominent Cheng family, and her identity as a woman was also known by Kangxi, which changed the relationship between the three. The mystery of Huaiyu's unspeakable life experience, the subsequent breakup between Wu Yingxiong and Kangxi, the emotional entanglement of the three people, and the grievances between the Cheng family and the Fu family have become the highlights of this drama.
