Animals have become the masters of the earth. They are doing what humans once did to them, hunting being one of them. The protagonist is a human disguised as a cat man. In order not to expose his identity, he does the same thing as the animal man. He is hunting his compatriots, but the thrill of hunting gradually makes him addicted, and eventually leads him to self-destruction.
