A remake of the famous French detective drama Astrid et Raphaëlle, it will be launched on Channel 4 on January 8, 2025. Set in the ancient city of York, England, the characters are all given English names: Patience Evans, an autistic archivist, is played by Ella Maisy Purvis; Bea Metcalf, the inspector who discovers Patience's genius, is played by Laura Fraser. All neurodiverse characters in the show are played by neurodiverse actors, including the protagonist Patience.
